    Introducing Solid Foods and Weaning your Baby

    • How can you tell when your baby is ready for solid food?

    • What foods are best?

    Come and find out more about these and other questions at our Introducing solid food session. During the 2 hour class we cover the following topics:

     

    • Signs of readiness and when to begin

    • What are good foods and what to avoid

    • How? The pros and cons of Baby Led Weaning and Purees

    • When and how to reduce milk feeds

    • Thinking about first tastes and menu planning

    Cost

    ​

    The cost of the session is 35 Euro for a 2 hour session. A hot drink and follow-up email with on-line resources are included.

     

    Private Sessions

    ​

    It is also possible to organise private Introducing Solid Food sessions at a date to suit the group. This option is ideal for groups of friends and couples to attend together as sessions can also be run at the weekend or evenings. The cost is €175 for a maximum of 8 individuals or 4 couples.

     

    If you would prefer a one-to-one or couple consultation, we can arrange an hour long Introducing Solid Food coaching session to focus on your specific questions and goals. The cost of a private coaching session is €75 an hour.

    Venue

    Sessions take place in a relaxed home setting in Bereldange, close to the centre of Luxembourg. You are welcome to bring your baby to the session with you.

    About the Facilitator

    Sessions are facilitated by a qualified Introducing Solid Foods Practitioner certified by the National Childbirth Trust, the UK’s largest parenting charity.  The ethos of the sessions are supportive and designed to enable parents to feel empowered and informed about the choices they make around introducing solid food to their baby.
